What is TOUCH TESTER?
TOUCH TESTER is meant to be an essential part of every fencer’s kit.. a handheld device that can do similar testing to the professional testers used at competitions but at a fraction of the price and size. With a colorful, easy to use interface that any fencer can utilize, you can catch equipment issues before they become critical failures. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket or fencing bag, easy enough for anyone to use, and capable enough for even professional armorers to use in diagnosing and fixing equipment. What can TOUCH TESTER do?
Test Epee and Saber/Foil bodycords for bad/loose connections, broken wires, or internal issues that could prevent touches registering - the real time per-channel resistance display reveals issues that simple testers won’t catch
Test Epee, Foil, and Saber weapons for bad connections or tip/point issues that could lead to missing touches
Indicate possible frayed/broken wires leading to improper ground cross-connections on Epees/Foils
Test lamés for dead spots and overall connection quality
Show red graph values when a cord or weapon would violate FIE regulations or fail an equipment check
Allow advanced fencers to more easily tune their weapons to trigger optimally
Measure resistance values generally to within +/- 0.04 ohms in proper operating conditions, usually closer to +/- 0.02 ohms
Updateable to the latest FIE regulations or new features

I use Touch Tester when we are in competition and at the gym to repair blades and body cords, it’s super useful.
I love Touch Tester’s precision because it is very detailed. It is not like the common tester that is just a light or a light for grounding. It tells you resistance and it is so important to have this when we go to competitions especially international competitions.

I had the opportunity to use the Touch Tester while working as an armorer at the biggest summer sleep-away camp in the United States, repairing dozens of blades every day. It made me much more productive, as it lets you identify problems far quicker compared to traditional testers. Perfect for testing body cords, epees, and reels, it offers functions that none of the other portable testers do.
What I love most about the Touch Tester is how user-friendly it is — it makes repairing equipment so much easier.
